It's our last night here at the Lounge. Tonight we'll have pizza and beer as we liveblog the speeches, as well as celbrate making it through the RNC in one piece. As always, please stop in.

Liberal Lounge Tonight -- Wed Sept. 3rd

We had a great night last night, with liveblogs, food from Golden's Deli, drinks and a band out around the cmapfire.

Tonight will be even better. Once again, a liveblog at 7 when speeches start, with more music at 10, as well as a a showing tonight from Chicago 10 (come and talk to me to walk away with your own copy of the DVD).

What's going on -- Labor Day

It's a pretty quiet time at the house right now. We watched a trailer and some scenes from An American Carol, which I was handed while I was out at the protests today. Currently, folks are either watching the 10 pm local news in the main room, or down in the screening room watching some of Bill Hillsman's ads with Bill himself, who dropped in and left some copies of his new book, Run The Other Way. Be sure to stop by for a copy while they last.

We're open for another hour and a half, until 12 am, so be sure to stop in.

Day one -- setting up

Because of the SEIU picnic, we are expecting to be pretty low key tonight. No real food, but snacks and drinks available. Pictures of set up below. Remember, we are open until 12 am tonight, so stop by.
